In accordance with Article 77 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Health of the People and the health care system", one of the main principles of purchasing medicines and medical products by a Single distributor is to support domestic producers, contributing to the overall development of the Kazakhstan pharmaceutical market.
Long-term contracts for the supply of medicines and medical devices for up to 10 years are concluded between the Single Distributor and domestic producers.
One of the ways to purchase a Single Distributor is – special procedure for procurement under long-term supply contracts from potential suppliers who intend to create and (or) modernize the production of medicines, medical devices the procedure is regulated by Chapter 20 of the Rules for organizing and Conducting the Purchase of medicines, preventive (immunobiological, diagnostic, disinfecting) medicine, medical devices and medical equipment, pharmaceutical services to provide a guaranteed amount of free medical care and medical care in the system of compulsory social health insurance, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2009 No. 1729.
Within the framework of a long-term contract, the Supplier undertakes to implement the submitted investment project and start the supply of medicines and MD according to the established deadlines. The investment project is the construction of a pharmaceutical plant or the modernization of existing production, the opening of a new line for the production of medicine and MD.

Under Chapter 20 of the Rules of organization and conduct of purchase of medicines and medical devices, pharmaceutical services, approved by decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30 October 2009 No. 1729 Single distributor held a contest on long-term contracts from potential suppliers with the intention of creating and (or) modernization of production of medicine and MD, on the basis of the report of results of contest dated 01 September 2020 signed Long-term supply contracts with 24 domestic producers for 1465 names of medicine, MD (of which 292 medicine and 1173 MD).
For today, 88 long-term supply contracts for 996 types of medicines and 4018 types of medical devices have been concluded between SK-Pharmacy LLP and 36 domestic producers.
