NOVEMBER 14 – WORLD DIABETES DAY

Every year, November 14 is World Diabetes Day, a date chosen to recognize the achievements of one of the discoverers of insulin, Frederick Banting.

This day reminds us of the importance of fighting this serious disease and supporting the millions of people who face diabetes-related challenges every day.

SK-Pharmaceuticals LLP, as the Single Distributor for the Purchase of Medicines and Medical Devices in Kazakhstan, makes its daily contribution to ensuring the availability and continuity of medical care for patients with diabetes in Kazakhstan. Together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the company annually purchases and delivers drugs and medical devices to medical institutions in the country, ensuring timely and reliable drug supply for both children and adults.

Thus, for 2024, the purchase of medicines and medical devices was carried out for 54 items. As of today, more than 200 million medicines have been delivered to medical organizations of the republic within the framework of outpatient drug provision. For the provision of inpatient care, in accordance with the concluded contracts, more than 3 million medicines and medical supplies have been shipped to medical institutions.
