A meeting was held at SK-Pharmaceuticals with the Chairman of the Board of Kazpost JSC Asel Zhanasova on issues of cooperation between the two organizations.
At the meeting, it was noted that for uninterrupted supply of medicines and efficient use of resources, the Unified Distributor is considering the possibility of using the services of the national postal operator Kazpost for the delivery of medicines to medical organizations.
It was emphasized that special attention needs to be paid to the quality of services when transporting medicines, taking into account the specifics of the drugs.
The temperature regime for delivery must be strictly observed in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.
Combining efforts to manage the entire chain from procurement and delivery to sales will allow the entire vertical to ensure accounting, cost reduction through lean manufacturing, tracking the movement of medicines to the patient, and the safety of medicines by ensuring conditions of transportation and storage at all levels of the “cold chain.”
Following the meeting between SK-Pharmaceuticals and Kazpost JSC, agreements were reached on further interaction to solve the assigned tasks of transporting medicines.
It should be noted that from the moment of the creation of the Unified Distributor to the present day, the distribution of medicines has been carried out through outsourcing of services.
Currently there are 4 distribution centers (Hubs) in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and Aktobe.
Hubs accept goods from suppliers, store and distribute them, and operational warehouses accept goods from hubs and their final delivery to consumers.
