On May 19, representatives of the Single Distributor took part in a joint conference on the Health & Safety actual topic, which was organized by the Representative Office of the German Economy in Central Asia, the German Economy Union in the Republic of Kazakhstan (GEU) and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce Association.
This event is organized within the framework of the International Healthcare Exhibition - KIHE, which is taking place these days in Almaty with the official support of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry of Health.
The joint conference was also attended by Ambassador of the Germany Federal Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Monica Iversen, Ambassador of the Belgium Kingdom to the Republic of Kazakhstan Henri Vantegem and Ambassador of the Netherlands Kingdom to the Republic of Kazakhstan Andre Carstens, as well as Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Belgium Kingdom Margulan Baymukhan, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands Kingdom Askar Zhumagaliyev.
At the joint conference, the purpose of which was to establish and expand cooperation between German companies and companies from the Benelux countries operating in the Kazakhstan market, questions were raised about further strengthening and expanding economic cooperation between Germany and Central Asian countries.
Yerkhat Iskaliyev, SK-Pharmacy LLP Chairman of the Board, delivered a welcoming speech at the conference. In his speech, the head of the Single Distributor presented the investment opportunities of the industry and the conditions of benefits, preferences for potential investors, as well as the role of SK-Pharmacy LLP in the medicine supply system.
It should be recalled that the Head of State Kosym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of cooperation with global pharmaceutical corporations, attracting investors, ensuring the transfer of technologies and the latest developments.
As part of the activities carried out to support the development of domestic production of pharmaceutical and medical products, the Single Distributor takes the initiative to provide a platform for the entry of large brands into the country from packaging to the full production cycle.
Inviting to cooperation, it was noted that the fields of pharmaceuticals and medicine are open for investment, and such projects will receive full support from the state.
Also at the joint conference were the Head of the German Economy in Central Asia Hovsep Voskanyan, President of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce Association Denis Van den Weich, Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Economic Research Ruslan Sultanov, CEO of Bayer KAZ LLP Lauma Walters, Director of the Janssen branch in Kazakhstan Adlet Nazarbayev, Marketing Director Bionorica KAZ Sholpanai Tashtenova, Chairman of Kaz-Dia-Test LLP Vitaliya Nesterova, CEO of Kazorange Alexander Diamandidis, General Director of Siemens Healthcare LLP Marhabat Rakhimbayeva, Director of Healthcare Business Development in Central Asia and Transcaucasia and Mongolia of Philips Health System Artem Padeysky.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their mutual positive opinion that the joint conference is intended to become a platform both for discussing the successes achieved and for identifying prospects and challenges for further deepening cooperation in the field of healthcare.
The Kazakh side noted the great potential of economic cooperation between the two countries, announced the possibilities of increasing bilateral cooperation.

The Association represents the interests of small, medium and large businesses, both in PK and in the Benelux countries, covering all areas of entrepreneurship with its activities.
