ATABAY AND SK-PHARMACY LLP EXPAND COOPERATION

The Single Distributor, with the assistance of Kazakh Invest , held a meeting with the Turkish pharmaceutical company ATABAY Pharmaceuticals&Fine Chemicals, where plans to expand cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals were discussed.

The Head of State noted the importance of cooperation with global pharmaceutical corporations, attracting investors, ensuring the transfer of technologies and the latest developments.

As part of the activities carried out to support the development of domestic pharmaceutical production, Single Distributor takes the initiative to provide a platform for the entry of large pharmaceutical brands into the country from packaging to the full production cycle.

Thus, in the implementation of measures for the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan, the Single Distributor holds meetings with major players in the global pharmaceutical industry, during which their long-term plans for presence in the Kazakh pharmaceutical market and issues of investment in the industry are discussed.

Key importance for the industry today is the development of the production of expensive innovative products, the promotion of the industry in the direction of technology transfer, localization of original medicines and the substances production. The Government of Kazakhstan has adopted and is already implementing a comprehensive plan for the development of the pharmaceutical industry until 2025, HEALTHY NATION National project for 2021-2025 has been developed, where one of the directions is the development of pharmaceutical science and the creation of new industries with the participation of world players.

ATABAY produces more than 100 types of pharmaceuticals, agricultural and veterinary chemicals, including antibiotics, antihistamines, anti-cancer, anti-tuberculosis, and other medicines according to the international GMP (good manufacturing practices) standard.

ATABAY exports its products to the USA, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. The company has two production sites in the cities of Gebze (ATABAY Gebze Plant – 10,000 sq.m.) and Ajibadem (ATABAY Acıbadem Plant – 50,000 sq.m.).
