Today, at the Unified Distributor site, a meeting was held with representatives of the Egyptian company EIPICO (Egyptian International Pharmaceutical Industries Company), EIPICO is an Egyptian manufacturer of pharmaceutical products. The company produces 276 medicines in 25 therapeutic groups. It is the leader in Egyptian exports of the pharmaceutical industry (21% of Egypt's total exports of pharmaceutical products).
In pursuance of the instructions of the Head of State to increase the share of local production and strengthen cooperation with foreign manufacturers, the Unified Distributor is actively working on issues of attracting world brands to the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, the parties reviewed promising areas of cooperation in the field of healthcare. An Egyptian pharmaceutical company is considering the possibility of creating production in Kazakhstan with potential export to nearby countries.
In particular, the company is interested in implementing a project for the production of medicines, which will be focused on the pharmaceutical market not only in Kazakhstan, but also in neighboring countries.
As part of promising cooperation, EIPICO is considering the possibility of concluding contracts with various distributors, both governmental and non-governmental, including the Unified Distributor SK-Pharmaceuticals.
It is worth noting that last year a number of meetings and negotiations were already held with potential local partners to discuss the possibility of implementing this project.
The single distributor, for its part, is open to cooperation and coordination on issues that arise in the process for the improvement and development of the country’s pharmaceutical sector and the healthcare sector as a whole.
In conclusion, the parties thanked each other for the constructive dialogue and expressed their readiness for fruitful and close cooperation, planning a zoom meeting to further develop issues.
Bilateral partnership will give a dynamic impetus to improving the quality of products and services in the healthcare sector, as well as the development of the domestic medical and pharmaceutical industry.
