KAZAKHSTAN ADOPTS KOREA'S BEST PRACTICES IN THE PRODUCTION OF MEDICAL PRODUCTS

During the working visit to South Korea, the Kazakh delegation got acquainted with Ordamed Korea factories and partner factories – Samsung Medison, JW Pharmaceutical, Genoray, Bionet, DRTECH, where they were shown the real production and technical capabilities of the enterprises.

The working visit was initiated to negotiate the possibility of cooperation and implementation of joint projects in Kazakhstan in terms of updating the line of pharmaceutical and medical products on the domestic market.

During the visits to the factories, unique, latest developments in the field of medical equipment were provided. The Korean side expressed interest in discussing the issues of production localization in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was noted that the quality was achieved through the use of the high scientific and industrial potential of South Korea. Following modern trends, employees of companies carry out activities to ensure the smooth operation of medical equipment in various areas of medicine.

The experience of South Korean factories as an important national infrastructure for research, development and production of new medicines and medical equipment was also presented. For example, 11% of JW Pharmaceutical's employees are engaged in R&D (more than 200 people).

As a result of the working visit, 5 memorandums were signed on the location of production sites in Kazakhstan - unique, latest, joint developments in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment between: JW Pharmaceutical and Ordamed JSC, Samsung Medison and Ordamed JSC, GENORAY and Ordamed JSC, DOLCE LLP and MEDICAL PARTNERS KOREA LTD, Aktyubrentgen JSC and DRTECH.

It should be recalled that the Kazakh delegation visited South Korea on a working visit to develop projects and study the work of South Korean medical and pharmaceutical clusters and the production of medical equipment.

This working trip was organized by the Single Distributor SK-Pharmacy LLP on behalf of the Vice Premier of the Republic of Kazakhstan R. Sklyar and the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Giniyat, with the assistance of the Korean Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Korea.
