MEETING WITH MEDICAL STAFF OF ATYRAU REGION

On May 16, a working trip of the Chairman of the Board of SK-Pharmacy LLP Erkhat Iskaliyev to the Atyrau region took place. The main purpose of the trip was to discuss topical issues of drug supply and equipping medical organizations with medical equipment with the regional akim Serik Shapkenov and local medical assets, as well as visiting a number of objects in the region.

The issues of drug supply in the region were locally discussed at a meeting in the CSE on the REM "Atyrau Regional Hospital" with the participation of the head of the Atyrau Region Healthcare Kaisar Abdaliev, the director of the regional hospital Yerbol Imangaliev and the chief physicians of city clinics.

The parties got acquainted with the condition and performance of the current medical equipment of the hospital and touched upon the topics of drug supply, accounting for drugs, accounts receivable, improving the planning of medicines, and the work of medical information systems. In addition, issues of a medical information system for managing a fleet of medical equipment were raised.

The meeting participants focused on the issues of digitalization of the healthcare system, the need to introduce personalized accounting of medicines at the level of medical organizations in order to form a patient-oriented healthcare system in the context of a listening State.

Medical organizations of the region work with the complex medical information system "Damumed", and in the CSE on the REM "Atyrau Regional Hospital" and the CSE on the REM "Atyrau Regional Oncological Dispensary" systems "Avicenna" and "Akgyun" are used in intensive care and diagnostic departments.

During the dialogue, it was proposed to discuss with the General Director of the complex medical information system "Damumed" Natalya Kil questions regarding the possibility of integration, together with the heads of medical institutions and the head of the Health Department of the Atyrau region in the capital of the country.

In addition, during the trip, a number of questions and proposals were voiced by the medical asset of the region, aimed at improving the medical supply system in the region. Including the need to include in the free list of drugs used for acquired deficiency of blood coagulation factors and chronic heart failure.

Another question was asked about drugs that were not purchased due to the low marginal price. The Chairman of the Board voiced problems with the formation of marginal prices for medicines, which is not within the competence of the Single Distributor, and announced that repeated procurement procedures were being carried out.

The planning of drug residues has not been left without attention. The management of the CSE on REM "Atyrau Regional Hospital No. 2" explained the impossibility of planning in advance the balance of drugs for the treatment of infectious diseases, including excess carry-over residues for the treatment of coronovirus infection and unaccepted refusals from deliveries in previous years.

To clarify the situation, the head of the Single Distributor explained in more detail the procedure for purchasing medicines and noted the importance of planning and mastering applications by medical organizations. Recall that medical organizations themselves determine their need for the names of medicines, volumes and delivery schedule. Procurement and supply of drugs is carried out on the basis of these applications.

One of the proposals from the Department of Health was the opening of an operational warehouse in Atyrau to eliminate the supply of drugs, where the main factor is weather conditions.

The Chairman of the Board thanked all the participants of the meeting for their interest, which helps to identify the pressing problems of drug supply, and noted that each proposed proposal will be considered by the Single Distributor.

At the end of the working trip, the parties noted that government agencies, science and business should work together on the tasks set and develop in parallel. Thus, joint work will open up broad prospects for the healthcare system and give a new impetus to the development of the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals. The head of the Single Distributor, in turn, noted the potential of the Atyru region and the important role of the region in the overall infrastructure of the country.
