"Ensuring the transparency of distribution and timely delivery of medicines is one of the key priorities of the Ministry. The management of SK-Pharmaceuticals needs to develop measures to improve the effectiveness of interaction with regional medical organizations," Akmaral Alnazarova emphasized.
Representatives of the Unified Distributor reported on the progress of the implementation of the Roadmap aimed at eliminating the causes and conditions contributing to corruption offenses, as well as optimizing procurement processes and improving the distribution system.
Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors of SK-Pharmaceuticals LLP Ruslan Nurmukhan noted: “In recent years, there has been a trend towards increasing cost savings in the drug supply system. This result is achieved thanks to centralized procurement through the Single Distributor. Every year, about 2 million patients are provided with equally high-quality drugs at the same price. Procurement for 2 thousand medical organizations is centralized. We are currently working on issues of improving regulatory legal acts and digitizing all business processes, taking into account the planning of procurement, storage, transportation of medicines and other aspects.” The Minister emphasized the need to further improve the processes related to supplies and instructed the management of SK-Pharmaceuticals LLP to develop specific measures to increase the efficiency and transparency of distribution. Following the meeting, specific instructions were given to strengthen interaction with regional medical organizations and speed up the process of delivering the necessary medicines to medical institutions.
