On July 20, the Single Distributor held an online meeting with representatives of the Japanese company Atom Medical Corporationon the localization of the production of medical equipment in Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by the company manager Mr. Tatsuya Aoki and Global Business Development Manager Mr. Keisuke Watanabe.

In Kazakhstan, more than ten equipment for newborns and infants are registered from the products of Atom Medical Corporation. It should be noted that a little more than 20 manufacturers of similar medical equipment are registered in the State Register of NCEMP. Also, 1-2 models of incubators produced by the Czech Republic, Brazil, China, Denmark, Australia, Lithuania, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Russia, and the Republic of Kazakhstan are registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties also discussed mechanisms for concluding direct contracts for the supply of medical equipment. Work on the conclusion of direct contracts with manufacturing plants is one of the priorities of the Single Distributor.
It should be recalled that the Head of State instructed to switch to a centralized procurement of medical equipment on the basis of the Single Distributor, following the example of the procurement of medicines and medical devices. In pursuance of the order, it is planned to carry out a centralized procurement of medical equipment in two stages. In the future, the Republican Program for medical equipping for the next five years will be approved with the definition of funding sources.
Also, the President noted the importance of cooperation with global manufacturers of medicines and medical devices, attracting investors, ensuring technology transfer and the latest developments.
