Today the Single Distributor held a meeting with the representative office of one of the largest Japanese companies Toyota Tsusho Corporation.
The foreign company was represented by the head of the Representative Office Hideki Nagase and his assistant Dana Ermenova.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the facets of cooperation in the field of healthcare and building a cold chain in the transportation of vaccines, as well as the provision of consulting services in the management of medical organizations using the Kaizen methodology and training for medical workers.
Representatives of Toyota Tsusho Corporationpresented the main activities of the company. In Hideki Nagase’s presentation, he emphasized that the proper provision of accessibility and high clinical quality of medical care is the basis of a patient-centered approach. The meeting also discussed the possibility of the Company's participation in the development of the infrastructure of the Kazakhstani healthcare system through public-private partnerships and the implementation of complex construction projects in accordance with the practice of the international construction industry (EPC – contract).
A representative of a Japanese company presented a special version of the Land Cruiser 78 designed to transport coronavirus vaccines. This SUV, developed with the participation of a division of Toyota Tsusho Corporation and the Luxembourg company B Medical Systems, is equipped with a volumetric refrigerator that can work offline for up to 16 hours. This vehicle can be used to transport all types of vaccines, ensuring their high quality and safety.
As it is known, to ensure the effectiveness and safety of vaccines must meet some key requirements. Vaccines are very sensitive to heat or freezing, so they must be transported and stored at a certain temperature from production to each vaccination point. Transportation of vaccines is carried out according to the so-called "cold chain" principle.
Speaking about the cold chain, it was noted that at each stage of transportation, strict maintenance of the temperature regime is ensured. The cold chain is a set of logistics measures to ensure a constant temperature and other parameters necessary for the proper maintenance of the goods throughout the entire chain of its movement – from production to consumer.
This process ensures effective control of the movement of vaccines to the end user while maintaining the cold chain. This makes it possible to track the location and belonging, and the temperature regime during the transportation of each package.
It should be noted that an integral part of the cold chain is its digitalization. Today, the digitalization of the cold chain is an important change in the system and mechanisms for transporting, storing and using vaccines. This, in turn, will provide a transparent vaccine chain, real-time data management, avoid transport and storage disruptions, and manage leftovers. Stickering by applying a code allows control the entire chain from the hub of the Single Distributor to the warehouses of health departments and vaccination points.
It should be noted that the timeliness and uninterrupted supply of medicines within the framework of free and insurance medical care is the main strategic task of the Single Distributor.
Yerkhat Iskaliyev, Chairman of the Board of SK-Pharmacy LLP, in turn, expressed his readiness for bilateral cooperation and thanked the guests for their visit.
