On February 20, at the site of the Single Distributor SK-Pharmacy, an online meeting was held with the German industrial association of optical, medical and mechatronic technologies SPECTARIS represented by Holgar Kollei, permanently checked in the affairs of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, head of the foreign trade and promotion department, expert Jennifer Goldenstede and senior consultant for foreign trade and export promotion Anna-Catherine Schmalz.
SPECTARIS brings together the interests of about 400 member companies from Germany, being in parallel a representative body in the field of medical technology, consumer optics, analytical, biological and laboratory technology, as well as photonics.
In order to enable the further development and production of core core technologies in Germany, SPECTARIS stands for the creation of a framework environment conducive to growth and innovation.
Thus, the industry association expressed interest in assessing the opportunities of the Kazakhstani market and exploring potential partnerships in the field of supporting local manufacturers, as well as its readiness to implement joint projects to develop the country's pharmaceutical sector and increase access to the services of specialized specialists.
Detailed presentations on the activities of the Single Distributor were brought to the attention of SPECTARIS, during which the system of a single distribution, the transition to a centralized purchase of medical equipment and the localization of production as part of a 5-year equipment program were considered.
There was an exchange of experience and vision regarding the development of technologies and innovations in the field of medicine. In addition, issues of using the mechanisms of long-term agreements, off-take contracts, life cycle contracts, contract manufacturing, conducting clinical trials in the country, cooperation with BigPharma and exporting products to neighboring countries were discussed.
A special guide for potential investors, the Investment Guide Book, translated into English, did not go unnoticed. It is designed to provide information on available investment preferences and ensure openness and transparency of procedures, both for domestic and foreign investors.
The main task of the guide is to provide support to investors at all stages of the implementation of an investment project, timely resolution of emerging issues, a single point for investors to contact the state, according to the one-stop shop principle.
Recall, the Head of State has repeatedly noted the importance of cooperation with global pharmaceutical corporations, attracting investors, ensuring technology transfer and the latest developments.
For Kazakhstan, the transfer of modern technologies, the introduction and the availability of its own localized sites are extremely important. The well-established domestic production of medical equipment will significantly affect the provision of quality services to patients in the country's medical organizations.
The localization of the production of world European giants will allow the implementation of industrial and innovative strategic programs of the sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan, which will give impetus to the development of competitiveness and the potential of the country's medical and pharmaceutical industry.
As part of the implementation of measures to develop the pharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan, the Single Distributor holds meetings with major players in the global pharmaceutical industry, during which their long-term plans for presence in the Kazakh pharmaceutical market and investment in the industry are discussed.
Following the meeting, it was noted that it is necessary to consolidate joint efforts for the purpose of mutually beneficial cooperation. In the future, issues of cooperation and local meetings are planned to be held with the participation of the National Center for Expertise of Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Equipment to form a detailed action plan.
